Atropine belongs to a class of drugs called anticholinergic agents. it is used to treat the symptoms of low heart rate(bradycardia), reduce salivation, and bronchial secrections before surgery or as an antidote for overdose of cholinergic drugs. Possible side effects include, fast heartrate, high prssure in the eye and urine retention.
