Clarithromycin is an antibiotic used to treat chest infections such as pneumonia, skin problems such as Cellulitis, bronchitis (infection of the tubes leading to the lungs), and infections of the ears, sinuses, skin, and throat. It’s also used to get rid of Helicobacter pylori, a bacteria that is a common cause of stomach ulcers.
