Corn Excision (Surgeon)

Corns occur when the skin on top of a prominent bone rubs against either poor fitting shoes or another bone. As a result, hard skin builds up and the pressure against this thickened skin leads to pain. If primary management fails, it may require a minor surgical procedure to remove the corn.
